12:57PM Halliburton responds to Judicial Watch lawsuit (HAL) by Michael Baron Halliburton (HAL) is off 30 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $13.82, in midday action. The company is out with a press release responding to a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, a Washington, D.C.-based legal watchdog group. The suit alleges fraudulent accounting practices at Halliburton took place during the period when current vice president Dick Cheney served as its chairman and CEO. Halliburton called the claims in the suit, "untrue, unsupported, and unfounded." The company continued: "We are working diligently with the SEC to resolve its questions regarding the company's accounting procedures. Halliburton has always followed and will continue to follow guidelines established by the SEC and GAAP, General Accepted Accounting Principles."

Inspires real trust in Larry's integrity, huh?

I think the girl called her buds over at the watch and they locked it down, just a guess.

I had no problems. I voted once. I went back about three hours later to see how the poll was doing and when I clicked on the button at the bottom to see it wouldn't let me see and warned me that I had already "casted" my vote once.
Interesting, a poll that you can't view the results of as it is ongoing. Makes a legitimate voter wonder how many times the supporters get to vote.
My cartoon bubble has Larry feverishly sitting at his desk, FReeping the poll for yes.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
The poll only allows you to vote once. It therefore is as accurate as any internet poll.
Look, the opinions of Freepers, when counted as individuals who don't vote more than once, is JUST AS VALID as the same number of people from the general public, DU, the DNC or whomever randomly comes across the JW site.
What you appear to be saying is that because we disagree our votes should be discounted.
To: terilyn
Well, it's not that way on my computer.
To: deport
I did no such thing! How dare you even suggest that I would do such a dishonest thing! It is none of your business what I do in my free time anyway.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
And I already told you twice that the poll doesn't even allow you to view the results more than once much less vote more than once to keep digging. I'm sure you can come up with another excuse as to why Larry's poll didn't turn out the way he wanted it to. Regardless of what he reported to the public.
Ethical my butt!
To: FreedominJesusChrist
See, you proved my point. You were allowed to vote more than once while people who disagree with him were not.
I guess it wasn't only Larry feverishly FReeping the yes button.

"Look, the opinions of Freepers, when counted as individuals who don't vote more than once, is JUST AS VALID as the same number of people from the general public, DU, the DNC or whomever randomly comes across the JW site."But that is the whole problem, your votes were not random. By posting the link to this poll on FR, this was a calculated move to sway the results of a random poll.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
"But I probably will go 3rd party in 2004." I'm stunned, shocked, in disbelief.

As Brit always says, "Fair, balanced, and unafraid".
We need more journalists like him!
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Well do you or don't you talk to your buds over at the watch......
To: terilyn
"See, you proved my point. You were allowed to vote more than once while people who disagree with him were not."I wasn't allowed to vote more than once, but I could clearly see the results of the poll whenever I went back.
If you are having problems, CONTACT THE WEBMASTER, instead of sitting around and complaining.
"I guess it wasn't only Larry feverishly FReeping the yes button."
Larry Klayman has better things to do with his time. He is a very busy man.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
I believe that they are also aware that people on this website are purposefully trying to make their poll look bad. BWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
First, who have you talked to over there that you'd know what they are aware of?
Second, do you REALLY think that OVER 1500 PEOPLE read this thread and scooted over there late last night just to make this poll look bad???
To: terilyn
Oh, and forwarding with your permission to every single show on Fox News.My pleasure!
To: Amelia
"First, who have you talked to over there that you'd know what they are aware of?"I was making a logical guess or speculation.
"Second, do you REALLY think that OVER 1500 PEOPLE read this thread and scooted over there late last night just to make this poll look bad???"
Yes.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
By posting the link to this poll on FR, this was a calculated move to sway the results of a random poll. Internet polls are NEVER random.
To: Amelia
This poll... Larry's so-called victory news release today (about old news-- Larry won a motion, you know)... pathetic, simply pathetic. I hope, BTW, that Larry realizes that those Democrats, like Carville, for instance, have long memories and carry grudges.
To: Amelia
Oh, and I will be awaiting this important breaking news story.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
How do you know that..... or is it your opinion. Or maybe your buds over at the watch tell you that. Which is it?
