12:57PM Halliburton responds to Judicial Watch lawsuit (HAL) by Michael Baron Halliburton (HAL) is off 30 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $13.82, in midday action. The company is out with a press release responding to a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, a Washington, D.C.-based legal watchdog group. The suit alleges fraudulent accounting practices at Halliburton took place during the period when current vice president Dick Cheney served as its chairman and CEO. Halliburton called the claims in the suit, "untrue, unsupported, and unfounded." The company continued: "We are working diligently with the SEC to resolve its questions regarding the company's accounting procedures. Halliburton has always followed and will continue to follow guidelines established by the SEC and GAAP, General Accepted Accounting Principles."

Right Wing Professor is a smart guy not doubt but a chemist. Rdf is smart, but I think he would be annoyed to be called a lawyer. But maybe he has waded into this area of the constitution, although I tend to doubt it. But if he has, I certainly would value his opinion.

Cheney owns the judges. Ahh come on Fred. Is there not the slightest possibility that the suit is without merit in your mind?
To: Torie
I honestly did not know that Right Wing Professor was a chemist. I was aware that rdf teaches at a Catholic university, and though that perhaps he would know.
What about one particular harbour?
To: Howlin
Where did the Cheney owns the judges bit come from? Maybe someone has had too much to drink.

A chemist and a teacher? ***Oh, my sides!***
To: FreedominJesusChrist
I doubt you would like the latter's opinion. But I think he is a lawyer, and a Catholic at that once upon a time, albeit it disaffected and ex I think, assuming that has any relevance, which it doesn't.

I didn't know that Right Wing Prof. was a chemist! I told you that I could ask my Con. Law Professor. His expertise is in Constitutional law and he used to be the Assistant Attorney General of a Western State. He is publishing his own textbook on Con. Law next year, honestly! He knows his stuff!
To: Howlin
He would have lied under oath; the case wouldn't have been relevant. the original case yes .. that wouldn't have been relevant
But the lie under oath would

I like One particular, even though we don't agree on too much, and I also know he is fair and might know the answer to this.

I didn't know that Right Wing Prof. was a chemist! Add that to the list.
And, no, I won't take your word for what your teacher says. You won't even answer a simple question.
To: Mo1
Right!
To: Howlin
Fine.
I guess that we will just have to agree to disagree then. Have a Good Night.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
I have no problem at all disagreeing with you.

A chemist and a teacher? ***Oh, my sides!*** I'm a chemist and a teacher. You gotta problem?
Wanna know what *I* think about the impeachment question?
Right now I'm more concerned about people who think it's okay to trash someone else's reputation and make them pay big lawyer fees when there's no evidence.
To: Amelia
Oooopps. Can I get you an apple?
