While it's true that a Godless nation cannot remain free I would no more confuse the 9/11 actions of Terrorists with a devout, Godfearing and moral Muslim than I would confuse a pro-lifer with someone who'd bomb an abortion clinic or assassinate an abortionist.
Militant atheists and their more pragmatic fellows are simply triangulating the People of the Book, that's all.
