I have no idea who is behind this story, but I have wondered if it is al-Queda, trying to subtly take credit for this shooting after the fact. I'm inclined to believe that this maniac was more inspired by them than anything else. I suspect that if the Feds find out there is a connection we will find out about sooner rather than later.

Is this nation suicidal?
To: PatriotReporter
Can a nation this stupid survive in a world full of deadly enemies?

Hadayat met al-Qaida's No. 2 man twiceIf true, easily explainable.
Two isolated incidents.
To: PatriotReporter
Hadayet probably sent his family back to Egypt just before the shooting because he knew it would be better for them not to be in this country when it took place.

Debka.com is suggesting that he drove a vehicle at LAX for several years and then was given the money to start a limo service that operated to and from LAX. They were putting their sleeper where they needed him.
By the way, the El Al security had him tagged years ago, and spotted him as he came in the door.

Well gee, bluedogdemo told me yesterday I was all wrong in my posts about Hadayet and Mercury/Maytag.
He said that this company couldnt possibly refuel Air Force One.
So I told him to go read Mercury/Maytag sites.
If all that we posted yesterday is correct, we have of course, another sickening attempt at a cover-up by the Bush admin.
I guess no one in the White House camp knows the power of the web,Google and FREEREPUBLIC!
If debka is right and Hadayet worked for Mercury/Maytag,and he drove their vehicle, and the FBI knew that instantly, they went on TV and boldy lied to us!
And the whole freepin governemnt continues this charade.....

Nop way the FBI has already stated that this is an isolated shooting. No terror links here. No reason to believe he was part of Al-Quada.I puzzled over why the FBI would want this to be an isolated shooting rather than a act of terrorism. Two reasons eventually came to mind.
1.)If it was terrorism they might be called to the carpet for missing critical clues that might have helped them prevent the terrorism. Perhaps they have information that they failed to act upon and would just as soon keep quiet about it.
2.)Turf wars. If it's just a random killing they can investigate without having to share information with Homeland Security.

The only thing "isolated" about this incident is the FBI - sitting all by itself in a corner, wearing a dunce cap.

WorldNetDaily is saying that Hadayet was here because of Bush's Amnesty for Illegals.

The LA Examiner is saying in a story that "The company that was mentioned by debka as employing Hadayat has asked that the companys name be removed from the article.
Soo, is this the way it is....Mercury/Maytag DID employ Hadayat, but says NO it didn't and intimidates the media into removing their name.
Since El-Al the airline is said by debka to have told Mercury/Maytag not to schedule Hadayet when their planes were around, who will pursue El-Al to see
if that is the truth?
Is debka.com not telling the truth?
Since Mercury/Maytag has mucho $$$$$$$$$ from government DOD contracts, which means TAX $$$$$$ from us the peons, do we not have even more of a right to know the truth about Hadayet?

Probably the most important and most certain thing that has come out of this is that El Al had years earlier identified Hadayet as a potential menace. And wanted him kept away from them.
We will never know for certain if he had met with Dr. Zawahiri or been a member of Egyptian Islamic Jihad. However, where there is smoke, there usually is fire.
