That seems to be your idea, not mine. The Spanish speaking population of NM wants to be in the US. Then tell them to become the English speaking population, because I'll tell you brother, patience for this kind of crap is running real thin. My Spanish and French speaking ancestors were here before Lousiana became part of the USA too...and my family ALL speaks English as our primary language. My great grandmother spoke Spanish and French at home...depending on who she was talking too, but outside it's always English.

They have been speaking Spanish and living here long before your ancestors (or mine for that matter) showed up on this side of the pond. Why do you think you have the right to tell them how to speak?
Attacking people's language as Brock did (not suggesting that one might learn English too) is extremely insulting. Instead of just attacking Hispanics, why not try to convert them to vote for your ideas? Politics is personal. I know many Hispanics (and quite a few Asians since the Cox report) that hate the Democrats's policies but they hate the Republicans's personalities. I get comments like: "I fought at Bataan; this isn't good enough for the Republicans." And similar comments from other groups.
