The Arab boycott is reverberating throughout the United States I know. I have been unable to buy any more deseased camels at WalMart. Sigh.

That being said, the Arab world is an economic joke outside of oil. A boycott by them of US goods is beyond trivial.

The Saudis, for example, used to flock to Disney World on Saudi Arabia Airlines weekly flights from Jeddah to Orlando. Now demand has evaporated and the flights have been canceled. If Arabs truly stopped coming to the US...
and that fact hurt Disney in any way...
I'd consider two birds having been killed with one stone.

The State Department is working to change the US image in the Arab world

My camel grooming business is down 90% since this boycott. We must give in to the Arabs demands, it is killing me.

And, we need to stop buying their oil.

I thought at first that we should boycott the Arabs. But after giving it some thought I realize that except for oil their technological advances stopped at the weaver's loom. I wasn't going to buy any Persian rugs, but now I know I won't.

There's a boycott? I hadn't noticed. Let's hope that they don't try harder to get our attention; maybe doing something like ordering all Saudi nationals to return home from the US. Yeah... That might do it. If there's any Saudis lurking, don't suggest that to your government. Ordering all of your people to leave the US would cripple the us. Please don't suggest that! I hope that I didn't lay it on too thick.

The Saudis, for example, used to flock to Disney World on
Saudi Arabia Airlines weekly flights from Jeddah to Orlando. Now demand has evaporated and the flights have been canceled.Visa applications to the US have also fallen, especially after stringent background checks that take up to three weeks were introduced for visa applicants from certain Muslim countries, including Saudi Arabia.
...and this is bad, how?
To: Don Myers
And, we need to stop buying their oil.....or just take it. Let them finance the War on Terror.
