I think Bubba needs to reflect on why they hate him so much and realize that, given our country's racist and imperialistic past, he should just give them huge sums of money, in addition to turning himself in.
To: Slyfox
I've been cautioning ICC enthusiasts for months, that the first war criminal they'd go after is their very own buddy Clinton. All weekend, the left has been calling Bush arrogant and mean for opting out of this Clinton-approved Very Bad Idea. Sorry, but this is SWEET!

I'm all for it, I mean trying Slick, Mad-dog Albright, Wesley Clark, and everybody else who had anything to do with planning Koswovo for war crimes. Imagine having the beer and hotdog concessions for the hanging on that one?

Much as I dislike Clinton, we must stand with him on this one. Any attempt to try him for acts taken as POTUS, should be considered acts of war against our sovereignty, and those taking such acts should be dealt with as enemies of the United States of America.

I don't care what they try him on, I just want to give him to them.

Besides Mr. Clinton, others named in the complaint are former National Security Adviser Anthony Lake, former Deputy National Security Adviser Samuel Berger, Ambassador Richard Holbrooke and former U.S. Ambassador to Croatia Peter Galbraith. In an effort to stave off leftist criticism, today, July 8, 2002, President Geoge W. Bush, retracted his repudiation of the ICC somewhat. A stunned CNN correspondent quoted Pres. Bush as saying, "With the exception of Executive decisions regarding affairs in Croatia/Serbia, the United States repudiates any and all jurisdiction of the ICC concerning all subsequent actions of any US citizen."

Sorry, but I have to agree with per loin here. It is OUR duty to deal with Clinton's horrible crimes in office, not a foriegn court's. We need to clean our own bathrooms.
To: Paul Atreides
When you give them jurisdiction over the Commander in Chief, you give them jurisdiction over every man and woman that served under him. Is that your intent?

Wasn't there some question as to the legality of attacking civilian infrastructure (eg. bridges, commuter trains, power plants T.V. stations) with airstrikes? Something about the Genva Convention forbidding war on civilian populations even for the purpose of forcing political change in a dictatorship?
And of course there was the notorious alleged airstrike on the OB/GYN hospital ward that alledgedly killed Serbian women in the act of giving birth.

Sadly, you are right. Our very own EX-IMPOTUS for better or worse. parsy.
