Begrudging praise.

Never will the President or any Republican get credit for anything. They can't even admit that it was Reagan that won the cold war! When Bush pulls this off and dumps Arafat and brings some real calm (not peace mind you, the radicals will never stop trying to run Isreal into the sea) to the region, it will be Clinton that will get the credit. Liberals by their very nature are dishonest liars that can never admit that they are/were wrong about anything. If they stopped to actually think about something, they'd be forced into rethinking everything.

Thats how a liberal becomes a conservative and they wouldn't want that to happen.

Think of liberalism as a religion, and all becomes clear.

The liberal's beliefs are articles of faith. They cannot be found wrong, otherwise their entire belief system would crumble. When proven wrong, they reject the proof. They don't "think", they believe!
