you and I must have know a completely different set of "liberals". The ones I've known only wanted a government handout, only wanted the destruction of unborn babies, only wanted to see the destruction of the traditional American family. They "gave" alright. Plenty of money to causes that worked to tear down the principles that made this country great. There is nothing kindhearted about people who don't think minorities can make it without their help. There is nothing kindhearted about spitting on Vietnam vets. And there is certainly nothing kindhearted about wanting to allow women to get raped, rather than see them armed. The true goals of liberalism get clouded by their fake "touchy feely" attitude.
