California: A Closer Look -- Incident a wake-up call (Security at Airports )

Yep, that's a keeper.

I remember in the days following 9-11, liberal commentator Michael Moore
(of "Roger and Me" fame) was lamenting that the terrorists hadn't instead
attacked in "the red zone" (or words to that effect).

I was laughing and screaming at the same time in response to that.
Moore, you idiot!!! Why do you think the terrorists took over planes in states in "the blue zone"?
They knew it was just about a "less than zero" possiblity that the lady in seat 18C
might just have somehow gotten past airport security with her .25 caliber gun!

Heck, if they'd boarded at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, there might be a chance that
either Barry Switzer or some member of The Dallas Cowboys might have gotten
aboard with a gun or some other lethal weapon.

I don't expect the folks in California to wake up and realize that we don't need
all citizens to be packing heat...we just need to have the thugs know that they CAN'T
know how many trained, armed citizens are able to reach out and touch them.
