myself believe that any act that is intended to cause terror is a terrorist act. Bureaucrats, however think differently.

I personally view this as a terrorist act. It can be nothing else given the circumstances. However; many have been worried about how the government, post 911, would define a terrorist. That has been one of the greatest fears of those that oppose the Patriot Act. What difference does it make if the Feds are being overcautious in the labeling when we can make up our own minds. Nothing changes the fact that 2 innocent people are dead. They are as dead as any of the 911 victims. The shooting is being treated no differently than it would have been had it carried the label terrorism. I think many on this forum, including myself, would become very uncomfortable if the Feds started labeling every act as a terrorist act no matter what the circumstance.

My sentiments exactly, considering that Constitutional protections don’t apply if a crime is labeled “terrorism”.
