There is a book I read from an author that was interviewed by Chris Matthews, SF Chronicle writer, Gavin De Becker; The Gift of Fear. The first few pages were dry reading, then it was good reading thru the book. Basically, we have gut feelings in life issues, and in today's environment, we tend to loose those intuitive reactions. Here the author, points them out, and how not to become a victim. Gavin De Becker

Oh, your right De Gavin's book was excellent! I was glad he wrote it because it confirmed many things I knew intuitively to be true but had been talked into believing were paranoid or neurotic. I found it very helpful and one that I think all women should read.

If you look at the website of Gavin De Becker in his "Additional Resources" section, he lists books to read. One of them is "It Takes a Village," by Hillary Clinton. He and his firm just lost all credibility.
