See means see. Use the old eye-balls. As you've been told repeatedly. (It also means see in a statistical sense but that is always highly debatable). I went to school in the '40s, '50s, and '60s. I remember very few fat kids and those who were were mostly husky, not obese. Nor was it a common sight - as it is today - to see women waddling rather than walking. You say your memories are different. Well then. Impasse.
