Are you real sure.

I would like to think you are right.

But we stand for killing millions of our own babies for convenience, profit, to avoid the bother when we were too lazy to "take precautions."

We do millions more in by alcohol, smoking and other greedy junk.

We elect "leaders" who take us to the cleaners and sell us and the country down the river to the highest bidder.

We yawn if the crisis takes longer than 1-2 hours to turn into a wonderful, tidy ending.

We get violently hostile if a spouse, shack-up or "mere" girlfriend crimps our style or insults our wimpish manhood. But otherwise, we wouldn't lift a hand to protect ourselves from very much--too much work. . . too complicated. . . requires too much thought; too much prep ahead of time . . .

And it requires values. . . which got flushed with the Soviet and China sponsored successful conquest of our philosophical substrate at our universities--all the more insulting given that most of those leading ivy league schools such as Harvard started out as Bible Schools.

And, now that I've discovered it's Friday instead of Sunday, I should get my butt over to my old place and finish sorting and tossing now that the movers have come and gone and left me with a bill about 4 times what I was expecting. Sigh.
