Sounds like he was operating under two different ID's. One had him at 41, the other at 52 years old. Havn't heard yet if he also used an alias, but doesn't sound like mr. joe straight.

What do ya'll think?

I think the bill in Congress to allow pilots to arm themselves after training by the FBI is going to pass.

Either this guy was connected and doing the martyr thing in an effort to test response and poitentially mark LARGE targets (ie. the huge crowd outside the terminal after the evacuation)

I am not sure how widely this has been reported, but his car was considered to have been parked strangely. This caused an evacuation of the area near where his car was parked because it was thought to be rigged.

Hazmat also had been reported to have been at the airport after the shooting.

At his home in Irvine FBI were investigating chemicals or the possibility they were present. That indicates bombs or chemical weapons.

I think there is a strong possibility that the scenario you mention was in fact the plan and the second part -- either a bomb or chemical attack from the car -- did not happen.

You bet, and given the high capacity of some handguns, you could cause more fatalities than a bomber at a bus stop, or even on a bus. Especially, if a prep has multiple mags and is not opposed.....

I wonder what the co-workers of the LAX terrorist murderer will have to say, in the coming weeks?

They'll say, "He was a quiet guy. Never caused any trouble."

They definitely won't say, "He was a crazy sumbich and I always knew he was gonna kill somebody."

Every one of your public schools is ... as are they all across the fruited plain.

Many others come to mind ... even there in the great state of Texas (I am a native Texan) and here in the west where I live in Idaho.

They've really worked hard at stamping out the rifles in the racks in the Pick-ups at schools ... even out here. The Republican Governor here is proud of it and told me so himself ... he didn't like my response when I told him with ll due respect that he'd done nothing more than created gun free killing zones full of kids.

FRegards.

I just saw a marque banner on MSNBC that he wasn't on the FBI terrorist watch list. The he was an Egyption born resident alien and his was not here illegally.

I doubt it would be wise for the FBI to put every ME Muslim on the watch list. That would be a long list :-)

New York Times felt it was more important to give our war plans to Iraq than to report the terrorist attack at LAX.

Wonder if God will allow them to hit NYC again....

We are on the same wave length with this dead Islamic Whacko. Here is a sentence that I posted in a reply to Saber, while you were posting that ? to me.

My sentence: This clymer probably hated Jews from the moment he was born, and he intended to do a Hate Crime. (all terrorist acts are hate crimes!) He probably acted alone and may have booby trapped his car (we don't know this for sure!)

So the FBI will call it a hate crime. The Israelis have labeled it as terrorism!

Screw the semantics, his intended goal was the same regardless if it was a hate crime or terrorism. This is why I hate this left wing PC term, Hate Crime. Lets get back to the basics. If some commits murder, it is murder. Most people don't kill someone else out of love.

Arm Americans ... lots and lots of them. Increase the eighty million and let them carry in public everywhere.

Amen. Hate Crime in this instance = terror lite = terror

Thanks for that. Interesting, Sabertooth said he was sure it was reported otherwise. Probably just another news report where they can't get their facts straight.

You do have a valid point there and since I don't have kids didn't think of that one.

So where are the bombs or the materials, I hope they find them and this guy wasn't an engineer.

Wisdom would entail shortening the list.

The people are ready to receive it, the politicians aren't... including the President.
