y'all. My kids are on holidays for two weeks (middle of winter here) and they got along to 4th of July celebrations here yesterday - it's July 5 here.

It's been a good one, even for those of us who put a little time in at work
on this "holiday".
I'm sure Jefferson, Adams and all those extremists who founded our country gently smile when
some of us take our liberty seriously and decide that we'll even work a bit on a holiday.
Always good to hear from NZ and get a bit of a bit of kind AND honest feedback
about how we Americans (and some of our crazy politicians) are seen around the world.
