I wonder how the morale is on all of our Navy submarines throughout the World. There seems to be no scenario where their lethal sting can be used. That's got to be demoralizing - you are trained, loaded and poised to deliver a heapin' helping of hellish hurt ... but you are authorized to do nothing. Just steam along with the carrier fleet or sit in the straits of Taiwan. Step over each other 24X7 by ... 6 to 8 months? In an underwater tube. God bless 'em, but no thanks.

He's obviously being sarcastic.. taken in toto with the rest of his posts, i fail to see any intended sarcasm.

Ha'aretz is reporting the perp is an Arab male Imagine that! I wonder...could it possibly be a moslem arab male? Hmm?
With all the effort to search elderly White women, I'm shocked that it wasn't some militant little old lady in tennis shoes! (/nasty sarcasm)

He didn't "get past security", just past the front door.
"Just past the front door" are hundreds of people, of equal worth to those in the lobbies and boarding the planes.
There hundreds and thousands of people on the streets of most cities and numerous public places on any given day.
Are we going to start security checks the moment people walk out of their houses, enter shopping malls etc.?
In any case if they had security checks at the "front door" of LAX or any airport, that would just cause a crowd of hundreds of people outside who are just as vulnerable to attack.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "obvious". The shooting didn't strike me as an organized terrorist attack, it struck me as one lunatic trying to make himself into a martyr. It was hardly a "spectacular" display, and it struck me as a fairly stupid target even as targets in the US go. I would think that any terrorist organization would be able to put on a better show than what happened at LAX.

could it possibly be a moslem arab male? Hmm You know, I'm beginning to see a identity profile pattern common among the perpetrators of all these murders and gutless maimings. Arab Islamic males have murdered a lot of innocent Jews and Americans. Am I close ....?
If Arab Americans want our support and trust, they better start openly, loudly and unequivocally condemn these butchers, and more importantly, pledge to root the illegal immigrant scum out of their neighborhoods and mosques. Find the creeps, and as a community, evict them and turn them in to American authorities. Sure they will.
I wouldn't trust my back to any Arabic Muslim American if I was in life or death battle with a Muslim foreign national. I have no confidence that they are Americans first, and Muslim's second. They aren't IMO.
To: Dr. Eckleburg
Dr. Eck, have you seen a detailed account of the incident?
Obviously there is a more complex element here, but when have the terrorist scum EVER bypassed an opportunity to rack up the body count? I admit I don't know enough about the event. Perhaps the El Al security guys killed him before he could kill on a larger scale. It just doesn't seem like a typical martyr seige.

Someone asked, "Wonder if his jaw will fall off during his speech". lol

If you check Amazon.com Inside Al Queda is considered the ultimate book on the subject; someone on this post asked if it was written by an arab sympathizer. Not quite. IN fact, if you (as I am) like Michael Savage he is the guy Michael had on for nearly a half hour that gave one of the most solid interviews EVER on the subject of bin Laden and Al Queda. Savage introduced him by sayiing he knows more about bin Laden than anyone on the face of the earth...except bin Laden. He spent five years putting this book together. His point is that Al Queda has tenacles all over...and basically if we look in one direction bin Laden will try to go in another and one of their priorities is to recruit non-Arabs because they know we are LOOKING for Arabs. In other words he is NOT suggesting we won't see any Arab terrorists...but that if that is all we are looking for we may be in for a surprise. I encourage everyone to check this book out (at a bookstore or on amazon)

Oh - so YOU, too, say that Bin Ladern probably called for this? WHERE did I say this, ace?
I am simply noting that Israel including the appeasement-minded left is calling this a terrorist incident. Which it has every earmark of being. Try to join the rest of us on planet earth, will you?

You're a WOMAN and I could tell you were thinking it -
- call it a 'preemptive strike' if you want (I see you HAD no other angle for an argument or a comeback, too. Such is the plight of those ill equipped for this type of battle) ...

You're a WOMAN and I could tell you were thinking it - - call it a 'preemptive strike' if you want (I see you HAD no other angle for an argument or a comeback, too. Such is the plight of those ill equipped for this type of battle) ...I made one point and one point only; a point that appears to elude you, as you are entirely unequipped for any kind of battle. The point was and is that even the left in Israel (which is just as appeasement-oriented as the is left anywhere) recognizes the LAX event as terrorism.
Which part of that did you not follow? I can repeat it until your testoterone-addled brain cells can process it.
