El Al got tired of getting hijacked and their people murdered! THEY PROFILE EVERY PASSENGER. If you fit their profile, you do not fly with them; and they are not the least bit bashful about it. They have not had a hijacking since they began that practice.

Also, their security are trained to USE their weapons, not just carry them around (unloaded).
