I haven't been following this case very closely, but isn't it possible that DW came home from the bar and found that his SON had done this? Couldn't he be covering for Neal? Has it absolutely been proven that Neal was not at his father's home that weekend? Sorry for so many questions.

This is the first I had heard about the son. I was wondering if the son could have done this. Hmmmmm.
