Ooh, ooh, ooh, (wiggling and raising hand) I have an idea about the blood on the jacket. Just an idea that I thought I'd throw out, so no flames, please.
Remember how BVD testified that she and the boys and Danielle went to DW's house on a cookie-selling adventure, and he invited them in? Okay, we saw (at least it looked like from pics posted) that the places where the spots had been taken from DW's green jacket were near the shoulder area. What if the jacket had been hanging over a chair back, and little Danielle had a small scrape/hangnail/scab and she touched the coat while it was on the back of the chair?
Just an idea.
For those that don't like this, I have the 'booger theory.' Just kidding.
No flames here. If I recall correctly, didn't Danielle have problems with nose bleeds? If so, and since the the MH was in storage when Danielle came over to sell cookies, that could explain how some of her hairs ended up in his dryer lint trap. If DW provided a white towel to help sop up the blood, it would also explain the bleach.
