We had a lot of floods in Calif. where we were. FG and I used to load up my Radio Flyer Wagon with tons of sandbags. Sometimes it helped and sometimes nothing we did made a difference. Rain is wonderful, but flooding is very scary.

We also live in a floodzone and have to pay for extra flood insurance. Remember that big old yellow house right up on the top of the bluff on PCH? It always looked like it was ready to slide off! We use to live a block off San Vicente on 10th.
