Welcome to Unseen Wings. How wonderful it is to know that whoever we are, or wherever we travel, we are never without company. Angels surround our lives. They guide us, protect us, and remind us that God cares enough to send His heavenly host to keep watch over us all, His children.

These images and testimonials are a lasting tribute and thanksgiving to the eternal love of God. I give thanks each day to God for the Unseen Wings that surround my every move (Psalms 91:11-12). It is my hope that with each image and story you read that you are reminded as well. John Milton once wrote, "Millions of spiritual creatures walk the earth unseen, both when we sleep and when we wake." This is the good news that gives me comfort each and everyday.

The mission of Unseen Wings is to one day create a book, a book full of images as well as your own personal walks with angels. I welcome you to leave your stories here so that they may be shared with the world. It is your interaction that will help make this happen. I hope that this brings you peace, comfort and welcome news just as angels are intended to do. Most importantly, I wish to share one of the many ways that God works in our lives. You see you can't have sunshine without the sun. "In times of tragedy it is difficult to distinguish the heroes from the angels."

Angels Among Us

Photographer’s work takes on heavenly proportions
By Bill Whitaker

While driving home from work in Houston, Texas, a multiple automobile accident gave birth to what is now known as Unseen Wings. The accident left cars smashed and scattered all over Highway 45. One vehicle just a swerve away from being involved was carrying John Bunton. He had no idea this incident was going to start a wonderful and fascinating journey. Through the debris and broken glass, he ran to help the people in a van that now lay on its passenger side. The five occupants, not wearing seatbelts, were piled on top of one another in a tangle of arms and legs. None of them were injured. Not a scratch on any of them. John, along with another man, tore the rear door open and freed the shaken family from the car. John was amazed that these people could have survived at all. Later, as he drove home a thought struck him, “How many angels does God send to keep a town like Houston and it’s people safe each and everyday?”
