As an illustration of how low the Democratic Party has gone to field a candidate, I supply the following text, written by the candidate himself:

To Fair Minded Citizens:

I read with outrage upon learning about the gustopol tactics employed by Bush fanatics to ensure the resemblance of unanimity in the wake of the biggest political hiest in the history of civilized democrocy. Certainly if one is in a perceived hostile audience, one would have the common decency to attemp finesse in garnering support and not resort to cynical dogmatism. Of coarse, Mr. Bush would have nothing to gain from this, but following the advice of Valdimir Putin President of Russia, in reforming his country's leagal system would contribute a great deal in advancing the confidence of American citizens in the future of our courts ability to arbitrate, in an impartial and fair manner on their behalf, not to worry, compliments of Theodore Oblson and company, Mr. Bush thinks our court system is functioning just fine.

Our fine young people today are simply too smart to accept without question any trifle concept proped up by mere partisan canned applause. Certainly, Mr. Bush thought the dumming down of America would continue in Columbus, Ohio, but I have news for not only him but all of America, Ohio is not going to take it any more. By my calculations, Governor Taft is on his way back to Hamilton County and our Democratic candidate Tim Hagan will restore the former prestigeous standing Ohio, the Seventh largest state in the United States has been generally accustomed to.

I am the strong Primary Democratic winner in Ohio's Second Congressional District, vying to assume a leading role in January by taking up the mantle of human freedom among Ohio's eighteen numbered delegation in Washington and witness the torch being passed to Dick Gepharpt. I can be heard on station WPAY in Portsmouth, Ohio on weekends along with their award winning programming, every week until election day. I hope that independents and moderate Republicans will join us at the polls next November and make Ohio and myself proud again and cast a vote for freedom, inclusion and independence. To all of our patriotic friends out there, Have a happy forth of July and God Bless America.

Friends, I kid you not. I counted 9 spelling errors, four grammatical errors, and stopped counting the run on sentences and lack of commas.

I know spelling and grammar are a weakness for me, but I have at least taught myself to use spell check, and use it on most occassions. However, this guy is a candidate for the US Congress and needs to demonstrate is ability, his knowledge and maybe even his intelligence.

I know nothing of this candidate, but if this is a solid democratic district and republicans have no chance of winning, then I think we should vote for this guy. He would join the club of all time leading Demo Idiots (I know, that is a big club)

Not being from Ohio, I do not know nor could I find out for certain. The district is currently held by Republican, Rob Portman.The assumption would be that Portman is running for reelection.
