Believe it or not, we had a lecture on the removal of exploding devices from a live animal. It was one of those lectures that most everybody snoozed through because none thought it would ever happen to them. Well, guess what? I have had two experiences with items in animals that would injure the surgeon or kill the dog. Now a bomb, I think I would have to have a little help from a bomb squad.

Well, the US Navy was training dolphins to plant limpet mines. I don't know if the dolphin was supposed to get away. Perhaps a new ABM treaty is needed. (Animal Borne Munition)
