Palestinian terror suspects caught in ambulances
By THE JERUSALEM POST STAFF

The IDF today arrested 27 Palestinians in two ambulances suspected of trying to use the vehicles to get from Ramallah to the Gaza Strip.

Military sources said some of the suspects were Gaza residents suspected of involvement in terror attacks against Israelis. The ambulances were in Ramallah when they were stopped, the Itim news agency says.

It is the latest of a series of instances in recent months, in which the IDF has found ambulances being used for non-medical purposes.

The Palies gripe all the time about the brutal Israelis holding up their ambulances carrying pregnant women, etc. If they wouldn't use them to transport terrorists there wouldn't be a problem with them. Hopefully the Israelis have lots of nice pictures of hauling the 27 men out of those ambulances.

Twenty-seven in two ambulances, whew! Good thing they can't drive a old phone booth, no telling how many they could stack in one of those! :)

Uh huh. When ambulances are abused innocent people who do need to get to a hospital sicken and sometimes die. No lengthy security inspections of Palestinian emergency service vehicles would even be necessary if they weren't being used to ferry terrorists around. Like I say tough luck.
