QUOTE OF THE DAY: As unpleasant as it may sound, it is necessary and worth it for people to take precautionary measures. It's important. They say it'll help reduce the incidence of colon cancer.

Another day where our President looks like he stepped right out of the pages of GQ.

My mom had a colonscopy once and said the worst part was when they "blew her guts full of air". I made her laugh by reminding her that we could always tie a string to her foot and walk around with her like those "balloon animals" in the movie Shrek.

The procedure hasn't interrupted his workout routine as Bush ran three miles today and took a walk in the woods with wife, Laura.Holy crap, that must have been a very uncomfortable run!

I'm near enough to Milwaukee to trot down to the airport on Tuesday to see Air Force One come in. I'm not a higher-up or VIP, so I have absolutely NO hope of actually seeing the Prez, but just seeing Air Force One should be fun (and I'll take the kiddies, too!)
