Its not the point, and you're once again attempting bait and switch. The point is that the founders were influenced by French liberalism, which I outlined as a springboard for my more pertinent question and observation regarding sovereignty. Now, I've already asked for your opinion on why the constitutional system broke down and you blame Christians. Sorry, but I can't take your argument seriously. Its beyond the pale..but apparently you don't see that.

And you continue to dodge my question, which French philosophers influenced them more than Locke and other British liberals? Philosophy does not spontaneously appear in a nation and exist on its own. It is promulgated by certain philosophers. Now answer the question, which french philosophers were so influential?
