President Bush has said that, in one form or another, at least fourteen times since it's first appearance on October 3, just after 9/11. I didn't make it up.

And apparently it's not true. Nobody, including the White House, can find any instance when he said anything remotely like that during the campaign.

I have never read that Bush's version is not true...where did you hear it?

BUT, my point was not that he's lying, which is no big surprise (they all lie), but that he, and apparently his audiences, find it funny.
