PEACE PROJECT MAY 2002 SURVEY

[IMRA note: The Peace Index Project is an important resource for following trends in Israeli public opinion. In particular, the monthly repetition of a core set of questions over the years provides a unique data base for researchers. A recent commentary by Aaron Lerner of IMRA that appeared in The Jerusalem Post noted that the survey finds most support the "peace process" but only a minority support Oslo. The Steinmetz center consistently provides both results. Unfortunately, many supporters of Oslo who cite the support for the "peace process" decline to mention the lacks of support for Oslo.]
