FBI chief asks Muslim council's anti-terror help

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III yesterday encouraged the American Muslim Council to cooperate with the FBI to prevent future terrorist attacks and criticized some of the organization's members for their past support of terrorism.

In a speech in Alexandria that had been criticized by some organizations because of the AMC's history of supporting terrorist groups, such as Hamas and Hezbollah, Mr. Mueller

Has anyone got any links to prominent muslims, muslim clerics, or muslim officials publicly declaring opposition to the multiple terrorist massacres in the US and around the world?

AMC is hardly mainstream, whatever the idiots in the FBI say. Muslims generally aren't big "joiners", except for the Wahabbi who tend to dominate such organizations.

Why am I right?... Here's why. Majority of Arabs/Muslims voted for W in 2000. Can you imagine any of these AMC people voting for W.

I'm more concerned about the ADL telling the FBI what to do. Abe Foxman has influence over the agency no head of any non-governmental group should have. We can thank Clinton for getting this show on Broadway.

Not dumb. All politics. Clinton needed to put down those Christian Conservatives who bugged him. He and Foxman sorta merged the ADL with the FBI to do the job. Think the homosexual agenda hurts kids? Your name may be on the CD-ROM of hate groups and extremists the ADL gives to the FBI and hundreds of other law enforcement agencies.

Mueller meeting with Muslims is nothing. They have zero influence.

With Mueller's speech, i would venture to say that it has been firmly imprinted with the mainstream label. ANd will be treated as such from now on, by TV and journalists etc.

Anybody arguing otherwise will have Mueller's speech thrown in their face.
