Well, now I'm a little confused.

My cousin is an insurance salesman. Has his own business. He sells the policies from about 10-12 different companies. Doesn't work for any of them. He owns his own office. Hires his own staff.

How is this different from what you just described about Primerica?

There are thousands of these scams around the country. Some are prominent ones and contribute large bucks to politicians and are somehow "cleansed." (Amway and Mary Kay come to mind).

I have knowledge of family members that have invested in these criminal activiites and lost their shirts, their friends and even some members of their families have become alienated.

Most, if not all of these MLM scammers are blatantly ripping off the public and nothing seems to be done to control them. A large, local MLM outfit is bringing in millions a month is sales of health supplements to innocent "distributors" but those in the downlines are eating dirt and going broke. Avoid these pyramid traps like you would a case of AIDS!

This wasn't Amway, I think the name was Quick star, the person who struck up the conversation claimed to be a Christian and invoked this several times.

I just checked the site. He does have information on this company. They are an internet based offshoot of Amway called Quixtar and they are soliciting in the Seattle area.
