"Major Address" and "McCain" in the same sentence strike me as an incredible oxymoron...

Any man who learned how to take cash from Charles Keating shouldn't give speeches about corporate governance.
Unless he's running for President.

What could St. John possibly know about "Corporate Governance Reform"? Oh, I get it , its the magic word, REFORM. You gotta understand, in his little brain, St. John is in change of all REFORM in Congress. Without hearing what he`s going to say,bet you that this so called "reform" will increase the cost of biz, increase the size of government, and won`t work.

"They were all disloyal. I tried to run the ship properly by the book, but they fought me at every turn...Ah, but the strawberries! That's, that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes, but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt, and with, with geometric logic, that, that a duplicate key to the Senate cloakroom icebox did exist. And I would have produced that key had they not pulled the Corporate Governance Reform Bill out of action. I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow RINO or Democrat!" Capt. John still changes in a phone booth everyday, but he hasn't learned yet how to fly ;-)
He may have always wanted to be Captain America, and now he is a cartoon.

McCain is no doubt getting the jump on Lieberman as to see who can affect sincerity the best over a subject they know less than my dead cat. The NY Times probably needs one of those "principled "Republicans to get corporate america to clean up its act,all the while giving the grandstander free air time, once again.

John McCain-style Corporate Reform!? You mean how he helped reform Lincoln Savings and Loan Corporation and American Continental Corporation?

One reason McCain is doing what he's doing is because he lost the presidential bid and his ego can't take it.

Gee, only one guy is left to get out in front of Bush, and it isn't Kristol.
Just what does Larry K have to say?

What will McAnus pull out of his a$$ this time?

When is mccain's speech? Before or after the President? this jerk can't tick me off much more than he already has by holding up GW's judicial nominees. I still think mccain is going to run against President Bush in 2004 - not as a Republican, but he will run.
