transform=transfer LOL!

He will be sedated, not unconscious; and Cheney won't be president; he will just be able to make decisions.

Hopefully, we'll see spending stop during this time.

"Transform"? ;^)

Bush to be "sedated" for "medical tests." Sounds like a colonoscopy. Yuk!
To: Howlin
That's right, sedated but conscious. I was sedated but conscious when I had a colonoscopy a couple of years ago. Extremely unpleasant experience. You're glad when it's over.
To: colorado tanker
Hannity said it was a colonoscopy.

Looking at the old colon, eh?

Bush never saw a tax doolar or a borrowed dollar that he could not give away, to ensure re-election dont you know.

You are with us or against us.

It seems hard to bear sometimes. But we're going to win this war and avoid market meltdown with Bush leading us. I don't and won't always agree with him, but I love this guy.

I wonder if Katie Couric will feel upstaged about this.

A real pain in the . . . .

What good is it to transfer power to Chaney if he is sedated?
To: onedoug
doug .....
I agree. I was just hoping he would put the country first in all areas not his re-election. Perhaps that is asking too much these days.

Hopefully, we'll see spending stop during this time. The majority of spending is done by Congress.

The procedure may provide the President with some "deep seated views" of what makes the world go around.

Is it really that bad? I'm supposed to have one myself within the next couple of years.... been avoiding it so far, but eventually going to have to do it.
To: aristeides
Did you have a quack doctor? You shouldn't remember anything about it. I had this procedure done one week ago today, plus an endoscopy. I remember nothing. Apparently though you are just with it enough to roll on your side and other simple things (like open your mouth, swallow, I'm not going to go much further than this). It sounds like maybe they didn't give a high enough dose.
Afterwards, there is no pain. This is a very important point, there is at least one reply here about someone being reluctant to undergo it. No one should be, it's invasive, but you shouldn't remember anything about it. There is certainly no pain afterwards. It is an incredibly useful, valuable medical test, in less than one hour you are screened for about a dozen different types of cancers, plus ulcers, weird bacterial infections, etc. etc. It would be hard to overestimate the importance of these tests, because most of the cancers it detects are very treatable.
The worst part is the night before - guzzling 2-4 gallons of crap that tastes like dilute gatorade and getting the squirts is very unpleasant. But the colonoscopy/endoscopy really is nothing to worry about.
