A Patriots Reply to the Left

In a Free Republic thread I put up a link to the Left Party.I was motivated to share it with fellow Freepers after reading Jim Robinson's excellent thread at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/706778/posts I've also suggested that, taking a slaps in our face while exercising tollerance has to stop somewhere. Do we wait until we're all marching down/up I-5 on the way to THEIR CONSENTRATION CAMPS? Do you really think THEY will treat us with kid gloves and tollerance. While we ignore them, they build consensus, strength and numbers. None of us should forget a couple important things:

CONSIDER THIS: While Clinton put 14 liberals on the 9th Circuit bench, we were "the sleeping giant". While we slept, the State Legislature built to one traitor's vote shy of a 2/3rds majority. WE ARE THE MINORITY!

I hope we can all use our collective talents and forge a resistance movement in California. Today's reply from Elk Grove School District was heartwarming. I doubt Sac School District would have done the same, even if it was safe to do so. We dare not slumber, and as GWB said after 911, we will not falter, we will not fail... as for California, with out you people out there in Freeper Land, we may be a bolt short in building our fortress against tyranny.

Rober Burdict took on one of these growing left wing groups who sought to spam our group. I submit it to you for your considered opinions. Roger faces the enemy and challenges their laundry list. His comments follow each of their Party's Planks.

Thank you for spamming our Yahoo group. We appreciate the lack of forethought and low intelligence your spam showed. (definitions are in footer of page)

The Left Party is a new project aimed at developing a revolutionary socialist organization of workers, the oppressed and youth.
Same song, different singer

We believe that a revolution that does not result in greater democratic guarantees for the oppressed sectors of society is doomed.
It's called the U.S. Constitution; gives us all kinds of guarantees.

That is why we place extremely high value on the principle of internal democracy, as well as the principle of organic solidarity with the mass movement in other countries. It follows that our organization must transcend the national confines of the US, where it is presently based.
Translation: We can't work with the U.S. Constitution because it gives to much power to the masses, and the politicians can be voted out of office.

We live in the epoch of the senility of the capitalist system.
Translation: Capitalism works, but we can't tell you that.

Unable to advance the economic, social and political forms of society internationally for the benefit of humanity and the environment, the ruling class is now rolling back the democratic gains of the revolution that brought it to power, as well as the past gains of the mass movement workers and the oppressed.
Translation: We as leftists haven't gained control because there is too much freedom in America. However, with the Democrats helping we're gaining ground. After tobacco and SUV's we're going after your guns.

Following the program of imperialism to its conclusion will sharply divide the world into fortress-nations of the rich surrounded by a vast sea of impoverished countries.
Translation: The countries that have a capitalist based economy get rich and those that don't are poor.

The "Bush Doctrine" is an expression of this senility. This doctrine, this so-called "war on terror," amounts to an unending political/military offensive against the workers and peasants of the world, with domestic and international objectives that change with the moment-to-moment needs of the US ruling class.
Translation: We are as anti-American as the average Muslim terrorist who, in reality, is just a poor working stiff in an impoverished country. This war is all the fault of America for being greedy and not sharing the wealth.

These are all symptoms of an economic system in its final decay.
Translation: America's economy is strong, but we can't admit it.

Capitalism and imperialism must be replaced by a more advanced economic and political system.
Translation: We can cure the world's problems if we all embraced the ideals of Communism. Then, and only then, can we all learn to love and live in peace.

Bourgeois rule must be replaced by the rule of the working class and the oppressed.
Translation: You are too smart because you're getting rich. So you need a proletariat dictatorship to rule you, so we're all equally poor and stupid.

If we do not shortly inaugurate a new epoch of growth, social justice and technological, political and economical advancement for the entire human race, the present system will drag all of us backwards, towards barbarism.
Translation: You guys are getting smarter, so if we can't fool you soon, it ain't gonna happen. We need to get more social programs in America to divide the people with class warfare.

An economic system in this state cannot be reformed. It must be replaced. Ruling classes and economic and political systems do not fall. They are overthrown.
Translation: Where's Bill Clinton when you need him? We thought he was going to be the next King.

This is no easy task.
Hell no, there's a problem called the INFORMED VOTER

A mass movement must be active in the streets and workplaces alike. A program must be developed to address the necessary changes in society. An organization must be built to group the best elements of the mass movement to effectively confront the power of the ruling class.
Translation: We need to riot in the streets as usual. It will help because we have the media on our side and they're just as anti-American as us. Remember Seattle???

The question of what kind of organization workers and the oppressed need is very much a question of strategy. We need a new type of left organization.
Translation: We need to get together with the DNC to figure out a strategy of getting our guys into power.

The collapse of Stalinism and passage of the old socialist parties of Europe to the bourgeois order made possible the construction of a new kind of a revolutionary left organization. We need one based on the working class, which will promote the mobilization of the mass movement, that will not aspire to impose its own rule, but the rule of the working class and the oppressed through their own democratic institutions of direct representation and power.
Translation: This is total B.S., but it gives a reason why Communism has never worked before and why it'll work this time, because we're going to do it right.

We need an organization that won't abstain from any struggle, and that will leave no battlefield without fighting. This organization must include workplaces, communities, the local and regional politics, the national challenge, and the international struggle in the scope of its work.
Translation: We need the help of the al-Qaeda network, because we can't do this by ourselves.

This organization must strive for a firm grasp of theoretical questions, the strategic and tactical aims of the movement. It must be internally democratic, based on the ability of the membership to frankly debate the fundamental issues and unite at the moment of action. It must campaign as an effective organization of the workers and youth.
Translation: Quick call the N.Y. Times and the S. F. Chronicle, we need the media behind us on this one!!!

This organization can neither limit its work to the electoral nor to extra-parliamentarian activities. It must see all forms of struggle as tactics useful in increasing the education, mobilization and organization of the working class and its allies. Agitating in parliament, demonstrating on the streets, striking in the workplace... all of these forms of activity and more must be combined.
Translation: We'll riot, lie, cheat steal, take over the education system in America, and get Democrats elected. If we can get them to listen to the news, we'll have them fooled.

This organization can have no interest apart from the interests of the international working class and the oppressed, no objective other than those that contribute to the organization and continuing mobilization of theses sectors and the construction of their institutions.
Translation: The media needs to keep on track. All other forms of media contrary to our opinion must be silenced. We'll call them names and brand them as extremists if they don't agree it us.

This organization is not the end product of its work, but simply a tool to help move vast resources against capitalism and for a new, democratic socialist society.
Translation: Dan Rather...he's a tool.

In the past, many organizations have failed to grasp these essentials of revolutionary politics at critical junctures of history. It is at times of great crisis and social upheaval when organizations are tested.
Translation: Upstarts like Fox News have a chance of beating us, and something has got to be done about talk radio.

The questions of war and peace; fascism and revolution; racism or full equality;   colonialism, imperialism and national liberation; class struggle or class collaboration; revolution or counter-revolution; capitalism or socialism; socialism or barbarianism ... continue to be the central points, the choices of human civilization, the theoretical challenges of the left, the center of every practical activity of revolutionaries.
Translation: The Democrat record of class warfare, scare tactics, tax increases, lies about Republicans have got to be kept up or we lose.

If you agree with these objectives, we urgently invite you to join us in discussing the next steps necessary for our movement.
Translation: If you're really stupid, vote for our side.
