Merchants training to spot meth purchases....
The attorney general's office is holding a series of workshops. The first one is in Bismarck today. It's meant to train store clerks to spot unusual purchases in their stores. It's possible to make meth out of ordinary items that can be bought in drug stores or supermarkets. One way is to buy a lot of cold medicine and use the medicine to cook a batch of meth. Stenehjem says the training will alert store workers about what signs to look for, and he says they can be told how to gather information that will be useful to the police.

Geez, did it ever occur to these idiots that you might want to purchase a lot of cold medicine if you have three kids at home with colds?

My wife has spent a week trying to find "alergie sudefed" (in the green stripe box). The stores are either out or they can't find which counter they hid it behind. And during this quest she learned something else: Just try to buy 1 sudefed and 2 nyquils. Most of the stores she went to will make you put one of the three back.
We're having a heck of a time keeping our meph lab going. Maybe we should try costco...

"Training" my foot. The rascals is already turning people over down here in Arkansas. A former client's boyfriend purchased 12 cans of starter fluid at an auto parts store and the clerk turned his name over to the fuzz. Then came the "Oh can we search your home" visit by armed thugs from the drug task force.
In a case just overturned in Arkansas, a cop was shopping at a WalMart and saw a guy with long hair and a beard purchasing some "pre-cursers." Knock knock in the middle of the night and it was cold and stormy and the guy was barefoot and didn't have a shirt on, and "No, you can't go back in your house"---so the Ark court threw it out like the piece of garbage the case was. parsy.

And the paranoia continues.
Not even our grocery stores are safe!!
But never fear, big brother is here and everywhere, literally!
Stay tuned for more stories of big brother murder and mayhem on the next episode of the War on Drugs Frenzy...
Next episode: Why The UN Should Bomb Marijuana Fields.
And remember the next victim could be you.

Sounds like a pain in the neck but it is better to get the individual medications in generic. Most of the time the brand name witches brews will cost you mucho more dinero per dose than you need to pay.

Since you do not live in North Dakota, what right do you have to meddle in the self-governance of the good people there? If they want to shut down meth labs in their own state and you don't like it, then don't live there or visit there. It's ... a libertarian solution, if you will. Try it some day.
