Never got a tattoo........still have my dress canvas uniform; althought I had the trousers "pegged", they were STILL full bell bottoms (not suitable for "formal" inspections), with 13 buttons (No zippers). I had zippers installed in my jumper, on the sides (unseen, for formal inspections); I'm proud to say that I can still fit into that uniform, without holding my stomach in, or with any other physical problems! I'm only 10 lbs. heavier that when I was discharged, 32 years ago! Only thing is, I don't have dress shoes, hat, or neckerchief to wear my uniform properly.
