Martha, maybe you're thinking I'm a fair-weather friend, like the rest of those Democratic politicians who backed away faster than a gal can say "I just got lucky" from that $1,000-a-plate fund-raiser you were planning to throw for us in New York last week. Of course, with your ImClone stock sale landing you in enough hot water to poach a tyrannosaur, I do feel you deserve a little quiet time.

Great article!

Still, Martha won't get away with it. The folks who run our press dislike her, and they liked (and like) Hillary.

Hillary --and for that matter her husband-- never could have gotten away with what they did, had the media not aided them.

Nice knowing you, Martha, even if you were a lib.

Choose your friends better, next time...

The only reason I have tolerated Martha over the years is that she makes the radical women libers so dang mad.

Another little device I have used to great effect is the "listening tour". You don't have to really say anything, you just show up (don't forget to handpick your audiences) and when it's all over you get all these free points for having "listened".

Oh, and by the way, has your broker been to Fort Marcy Park? It's a very historic site, a great place to go to get away from the stresses and strains of Washington, the parking is free, and it's right off of the freeway. He might enjoy it, my old dear friend Vince used to go there just to be by himself from time to time.

Isn't it interesting how the "world's smartest woman" turns into an Alzheimer's patient when questioned about her corruption? I'm sure, if she was younger and thought she could have gotten away with it, she would have had a fake miscarriage to garner sympathy.

As for Martha, she needs to wake up and smell the Rosemary bread and realize that Democrats hate self-made millionaires (though, they will take their money). Democrats are all about victims and division. It is interesting to note that, of all the people coming to Martha's defense, the only ones I have heard are conservatives.

Blame it on all of those years of watching Hogans Heroes and identifying with Sargent Shultz..."I know nothing...nothing!!"

They even look similar, but I believe Shultz is the slenderer of the two.

I'm so glad when things like this get printed in the Wall Street Journal.
