Ambler man dies after scuffling with village officer

Anchorage, Alaska, June 26 - Alaska State Troopers say an Ambler man died after scuffling with a village police officer.

Village Safety Officer Brian Jones arrested 21-year-old Albert Sheldon on domestic violence charges. Jones told troopers that Sheldon fell and cut his head during the arrest. Sheldon passed out and died a short time later. Troopers said the death was an accident and also said Sheldon was injured in a fight earlier that morning.

By the way, if you had bothered to post the whole story, this guy was in a fight earlier in the day, in the course of which he received a head injury. The conclusion at this point is that the earlier injury was the cause of death, not the Village Public Safety Officer (NOT an Alaska State Trooper, as was implied by your post) wrestling him to the ground to cuff him.
