[history]
Pres. Bush signed this law extended bennies to these partners. Maybe it's me and I am sure that I will be told this, but I seem to have lost sight of just what his conservative values are.
I am sure that there are those out there that can tell illustrate them for me.

The new law allows a $250,000 federal benefit for survivors of public safety officers to be paid to any beneficiary listed on the victim's life insurance policy. The money has been available only to spouses, children and parents. I'm sorry, but this is just a case of the pro-homo press trying to spin this as a homosexual victory. This law stemmed from a Roman Catholic priest who was killed while serving as a Fire Dept. chaplain at the WTC on Sept. 11th. He, having no children, spouse, or surviving parents, had designated his two sisters as his beneficiaries.
You have a problem with that?

He is a Rockefelle Republican like his daddy and uses his Born Again Christianity to mesmerize the Right Wing.

Basically, government benefits can now go to anyone you want, as long as you have sex with that person. Any government favor shown marriage is evaporating quickly. And if you want benefits to go to someone you care for (but don't have sex with), well, then, too bad.

Wasn't that chaplain gay?
And I mean that with all sincerety. Or maybe that was just another 9-11 rumor.

Read again:

It can be your mother. You don't have to have sex with the beneficiary on your life insurance policy. At least not yet.

It is a life insurance policy for crying out loud. You can make anyone a beneficiary- mother, father, neice, nephew, brother, half-brother, business partner, etc. I am considering life insurance on my father in law, since we have a common business interest. And I can assure you, we are not having sex.
You people should get your facts straight before you start bashing Bush.

You're right. Fair enough!

Wasn't that chaplain gay? And I mean that with all sincerety. Or maybe that was just another 9-11 rumor.I've heard some sources say that. It is true that he ministered to homosexuals, some of whom claim that he was gay. I have yet to hear anyone suggest that he violated his vow of celibacy. If he was a homosexual, they'll try to claim him as a hero. However, if he was a celibate homosexual, those who define their entire existence by their perverted sexual acts would be quite uncomfortable with him.
Notice that the homosexual press isn't making much of his sexuality as they did with Bingham on Flight 93, although they quieted down on that after it came out that there was no proof that Bingham did anything, only that he was talking to his grandmother and he mentioned that some other guys were going to try something.
Their silence, to me, proves that the priest was not a practicing homosexual.
