That is because Bush knows what he believes. Clinton needed those "advisors" to take a poll and figure out what would be popular.

I had been told that the President was attending the same liberal Methodist church that Clinton attended; but this piece disabused me of that false notion.

I was just glad to hear Bush talking about God when he spoke to the fire victims yesterday.

I don't think his choice of church really matters. It's evident that he REALLY believes, and that's enough for me.

Since most weekends he is at Camp David, I would say that his regular place of worship is there. With the security concerns in the aftermath of September 11, it would be very hard on any church to have him as a regular worshipper. The buildiing would have to be monitored by the Secret Service constantly, not just on Sundays.

I also don't think he needs to "set an example" by being photographed attending services. He lives his faith in all that he does and says, and that is a good enough example for me.
