I understand he is a good Bishop. Former rector of Kenrick Seminary in St. Louis. Seems rather unusual that one is moved from Auxiliary Bishop to Archbishop in one step.

I am not Catholic, but have heard from some Catholic friends that in St. Louis he is known as a "conservative." If so, the people in Milwaukee won't know what hit them...
