If they know the spores are the same, they've know about this for some time.

Keep your ears open in the DC area for news, assuming this is a true breaking news story.

I think Martha Stewart has a home about 50mi north of DC...

Howdy
Good point!
Hopefully they released this data AFTER they got all of the information they could about the people involved and got the murderers themselves on ice.
After all, if a single demoRAT got wind of the operation they'd blow it sky high, the safety of the American public be damned, as usual.

They may have found the guy that did the anthrax and here you are about to fall asleep???
I wonder if you were going "ho hum" on 9-11!
To: Recovering_Democrat
Have a better location than 50 miles north of DC..

Surely they had already converged before the media released this bit of news?
Sorry, I didn't mean to call you Shirley.

NO, I wasn't going "ho hum: on "9-11".
see post #3....

50 miles north of D.C. sounds like the Baltimore area. I think Frederick and Fort Detrick are only like 20 or 25 miles north of D.C.
To: aristeides
Isnt Baltimore closer than 50 miles to DC..
I am in South Jersey and it's 100 miles from here to DC...

If it is 50 miles north of DC, this would be some where around the MD and PA border. Until this point hardly considered an area that harbors terrorists. Considered good old boy country, and a decent share of horse farms. Could this just be cross contamination?

Ooooh. I love subtle references to Leslie Nielsen movies. "And don't call me Shirley" Airplane.

If it is 50 miles NORTHWEST of Washington, it may be near Fort Detrick, which is where the Army experimented with anthrax back in the 1960s.

You reference "Local TV" - was this a wire service story that was read on your local station (what station!?); did FNC/CNN/MSNBC have it somewhere? What's the deal (if there's a deal)? Or is this yet another wild goose chase?
