I'm with you, but what exactly can Bush do? Daschle, as majority leader, decides what bills are brought before the Senate as well as who can breeze through the confirmation process. He's been called an obstructionist (and a few other names) by this administration to no avail. Daschle controls the Senate plain and simple. Bush certainly has a full plate right now and I suspect he is simply biding his time until we win back the majority.

He can make recess appointments. Lots of them. And as he's signing the paperwork, make a public statement that the Democrats are taking advantage of the War on Terror to play politics with America's judicial system. He should point out that HE has done everything in his power to be accommodating and cooperative, even signing bills he disagrees with, in an effort to be bi-partisan.
