I had the 'luxury' of playing ball with the GOP back when I ran for office and was 'up close and personal' watching the goings on and dealing with leaders in the GOP when I worked for the State Senate, and when I worked on the campaign of the GOP's early candidate for governor, so perhaps I have a little more or different insight into government than you, or perhaps many others.
What everyone, or I should say many, seem to forget is that no one wants to be for a loser; there is no joy or pleasure in being in a position to say "I told you so" (even if one wanted to say that).....RINO doesn't merely stand for Republican In Name Only.....Republic In Name Only is what I'm fighting against. Guess we all have a different idea of how to get there---I just haven't figured out yet how continuing to dig the hole deeper and deeper is gonna get us anywhere near the top of the hole so we can somehow pull ourselves out.
