WASHINGTON.
A CENTRAL assumption of much Mideast analysis - that America must lean on Israel and help Yasser Arafat to get Arab support against Iraq's Saddam Hussein - has now been turned upside down.
Instead, President Bush took the position that there's one unified war on terror and demanded that Arab states oppose anti-Israel terror just as strongly as they oppose Osama bin Laden terror.
