[history]
Let me be the first to nominate President Bush as the leading candidate for the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize.
His strategic diplomacy, aided by Secretary of State Colin L. Powell and Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld, without question averted a catastrophic war between India and Pakistan, a war that could have gone nuclear.

If I were President Bush and were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, I would decline it. Any prize that could be given to Yassir Arafat is not worth having.

If I were Bush, I would take it; just so I could send an autographed copy to BillyJeff.

Any prize that could be given to Yassir Arafat is not worth having. Don't forget the Henry Kissinger/Le Duc Tho (sp?) award.

Absolutely!
You beat me to it!

I agree with you. It also has the great effect of making clinton green with envy.

(Madder than he already is, that is.) With all the time he spent in England, do you think there is any chance he has Mad Cow Disease, he seems to be somewhat resistant to Foot and Mouth Disease.

I agree. But if the Nobel committe offers him the prize, I'll eat my shorts.

Referring to President G. W. Bush's new Homeland Security department, former President Bill Clinton told a gathering of Council on Foreign Relations members last week, "We have been building this for a long time." Does that make you blood BOIL????
I am not interested in the prize; I'm interested in getting a plan that will work -- one way or the other; they either have a 'state' or there is not need for a 'state,' if you get my drift.

Agreed. The recent comments by the committe members who had chosen Arafat and Peres that they would not vote for Peres again (but still would for Arafat), pretty much confirms that the Peace Prize is a Marxist mockery.

All the pictures of Bill and Hillary looked like that that day. Eat up with it.

Great pic! Last weekend I saw clinton's speech to CFR the previous Monday. Instead of gagging uncontrollably, I found myself enjoying clinton's body language and facial expressions. His eyes were shifting uncontrolably, and had the expression of wondering how much longer people will buy his version of his legacy bs. Poker players call reading body language bluffs or good hands "tells." clinton in that speech was in rapid fire bs tell mode. In fact, I see this happening to a lot of dims these days. This is probably one reason why they are loath to give interviews or give public speeches.

Heheheh.
