Good, so it sounds like at least the father is coherent enough to not hurt the child and evading the paperwork until he is forced to recieve the documents.

Thanks. I missed part of that on your previous post. Since it's been a week he could be anywhere in the US. Does he have friends or family in other states who he might run to for help?
