My previous attempts at explaining my words were removed by the moderators, so I guess I was a bit too "harsh" in my response (though it was certainly not my intent), so I shall simply state again that my comments were intended as sarcasm, using the irony of asking if people who were here illegally (as in breaking the law) were doing something criminal (as in breaking the law). I apologize if there was a misunderstanding, and I am aware that there are some liberal loons who might honestly pose such a question without humourous intent.

I read that part of the law-suit settlement was to put some of those "liberal-loons" in admin-mod positions....../sarcasm (i hope)

Thanks for the clarification. When I first joined FR, I learned the hard way that when I posted something that was meant to be sarcastic, I'd better make sure that I included the sarcasm tag or else I'd end up having several FReepers verbally assaulting me.
