Did anyone else catch the comment by Rush a little while ago?

He was thanking his guest host and he thanked Bill Cunningham and said, "Well, that got the FREEPER network fired up." (oh something to that effect).

I bet Rush reads Free Republic.. I noted the last few months as a new news story pops up here Rush will bring up the same story within a few min. on the show

I just tuned in just before the 1:00 break and guess what he was talking about--GOLF!

I enjoyed most of his hosts during his absence and don't recall them talking about golf or cigars one time.

I particularly enjoyed John McCaslin who wasn't hesitant to invite some knowledgeable guests to discuss some serious issues.

I also wonder what Anne Coulter's and Peggy Noonan's screen names are? (Maybe this is known information, but I didn't know).

I wonder how many "famous" people are members of FR? (And, I mean famous as in more than just radio talk show hosts)

Seems like most of what Rush reads on his show is from the Druge Report. Word for word, source for source. ALL of those articles end up here as well. He may Freep as well, but just seeing the same articles doesn't even come close to proving it.

Years ago, when the rest of you pups were still wandering about in cyber-darkness :), someone named "Rush" posted once. If my memory serves, his e-mail address was "rush @eibnet.com". Whether it was really Rush I do not know, but it caused quite a stir.

I don't think there is any doubt that his "stack o' stuff" is mostly composed of things that are found on FR, though I am not a Rush 24/7 Member so I couldn't confirm that.

That is not to say that he doesn't do his own research; I am sure he does. It is amazing though, that I can read the newest posts in the morning and count the number of stories that I hear on Rush, Neal Boortz, Savage, etc.

Truly the greatest news clearninghouse in exsistence.

That is probably true too. Then the question becomes, "Where does Drudge get his news from?"

Ehem, I see stuff here before it is on Drudge, in many cases, unless it is a Drudge exclusive. I mean, Drudge has his sources, so he will get his scoops, but I would contend that he gets most of his stories/headlines from right here...
