I just called my home phone in Show Low, Show Low Heights, just a few blocks from the Days Inn, and Praise God, my answering machine picked up! 7:00 p.m. AZ time!

That's great news!!! You must feel so relieved! Last reports I heard from Show Low were that things didn't get as bad today as they had feared and the fire's approach to Show Low had slowed down. It had only barely reached the west side of Show Low the last I heard. The woman reporting from Show Low just now said she can see the red glow in the distance. Fire is moving slowly and has not reached the community of Torayon (sp?) which is an upscale area on the west side. Fire has gone through Linden though...
